Anthony Piwarun – SEO & Digital Strategist

As a professional SEO with years of experience managing programs for clients big and small, I don’t believe my responsibilities start and end with the typical on-page and off-page modifications in my job description. I’ve learned that the role of a truely successful SEO expands far beyond that to more of a cross-functional digital strategist. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter if I can increase traffic to my client’s sites unless they convert. This is where having a diverse, multi-dimensional skillset comes in handy.

I began working in the SEO industry after graduating from UW-Milwaukee in 2008, while working at a digital shop known for creating websites and launching direct response marketing campaigns for infomercial products like the “Snuggie” and “Ab Rocket”. After working in the DRTV space for a little over a year, I moved on to a full service marketing agency working with clients like Milwaukee Tool, Quarles & Brady, and the National Veterans of Foreign Wars. Shifting from small direct response websites to managing search programs for large corporations was a bit of a challenge, but it gave me exposure to corporate relationship management and gave me a sense of what metrics really mattered to the C-suite. A year after that, I moved on to Fullhouse Interactive, developing strategy and managing search engine marketing programs for clients like Johnson Controls, MillerCoors, and Bemis Flexible Packaging. Right now, I work as the SEO Lead for Zeon Solutions.

Brands I’ve Worked With

Over the last few years, I’ve had the opportunity of working with the following brands in either a professional or freelance capacity:
